Degree Project

Today, I have been adding an animation for added to the basket within the customization pages of the menus. Further on I have also decided to redesign the menu screen in order to optimize the screen space more. Below is the screenshot of the older version of the menu Below is the screenshot of improved version of an app.  

 I decided to focus on improving the experience for the user in the menu section. I have added a box at the bottom of the image to highlight/indicate which tab the user/customer is on. Where later on, I also added the similar concept to the research tab.

 Yesterday, I have been focusing on further developing settings side of the app. As I have added in a screen for the payment options as well as I have added in Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Which can be seen below.  

 I have been working on redesigning the nutritional information Below is the old version of it Below is the updated version of it Where I  have simplified it somewhat and also added little boxes within the each number. And removed the shadows within the boxes.

Here are some small redesigns I have made within the app  Below is the old version of the homepage and first section of your favourites And here is the improved version of the same screen Where I have decided to add in indicators of the placement of the screens ahead and increased the size of the button to move to the next item. Ultimately, making it easier for the customer/user to use the app. And below is the example how it would like within the concept of the menu.

 Today, I have been working on redesigning the store location however it is not fully finished. Below is the old version of it. Which I found to be to simple and boring from the user perspective. Thus, below is the updated version of it. As I said it's not fully finished however following the design of the whole app I would include in the place next to store location the square I am using throughout the app in which within there would be the image of the store. When it comes what image should contain I was thinking of using Blender to render the store which I would be able to manipulate. The opening times sections slides out when the arrow next to "Today open until 6pm" is clicked. 

I have been working on the search bar function to placeholder work. Again using the states within the Adobe XD so that when the user clicks in search it will autofill mocha word and when clicking on search function it will transfer you the screen at the top.   

I have been working on redesigning the research screens to fit the colour scheme more Where I have removed the inner shadow and drop shadow of the brown background of the text Below is the old version of it Below is the new version of it  

Today, I have been working on the summary within the Build your coffee function which would inform user of the choices he has made. As it is only a prototype no matter what choice the user will make the info within would be the same. As coding would be needed to make it change to be relative to what the user chose. Or another option would be creating as many screens as there are options to redirect it. Which is a possibility but a tedious one.  

I have added in a forgot password section to my app to represent a more realistic app. As well as using the states within the Adobe XD I have added in a toggle state whereby when user clicks within "username" it will fill out with a name. This is as close as I will get without having to code the app but still giving the user an idea what would it look like. Below are some screenshots of new sections added in  

I will talk about some of the changes to my "Build your coffee" screens"  Below is the original concept I had before receiving any feedback from either peers or tutors. Main issue seemed to be the flags not fitting in within the colour scheme of my app. Another issue I had thought was the placement of "not sure which one to choose as in the screen below it is partially hidden by the bottom bar thus not offering an user an easy glance at the information as the user has to swipe down in order to see more information.  Thus, below I include an improved version of build your coffee and new sections I have added in to improve the customizability of it.  Instead of flags I decided to go with the outline of the country  as it allowed me to change it to manipulate it to fit my colour scheme. When it comes to new sections it allows the user to change amount of water and how many shots of coffee does the customer want.
