Steve's session 25th of October

 Today we had a session about Specifying audiences. For example we have touched upon different types of audiences like Thinker, Maker ,Doer etc. 

When it comes to the relation of my app i need to make sure that my app does not exclude demographic. This is especially true because as the app will be used by variety of people in various age brackets. It means that some individuals might be more technology savvy than others thus know how to explore/use the following app. However to include everyone i should consider adding in a tutorial after launching the app for the first time which would guide users through the interface. As well as when signing up i was thinking of asking the user for their birthday day. As the shop might give out free incentives on that day for that individual.

Furthermore, we have covered the audience spectrum which was developed by Audience Agency which covers various different target audience groups like Metroculturals, commuterland, Experience seekers or Trips and Treats. 

I should think about my potential market size, viable business model for the app as well as likely marketing strategies that the shop might want to do.
